Nicolette Larson
American singer-songwriter, born on July 17, 1952, in Helena, Montana, and passed away on December 16, 1997, in Los Angeles, California, at the age of 45. She is survived by her second husband, drummer Russ Kunkel, whom she married in 1990, and her daughter, Elsie May Larson-Kunkel, known as Elsie May Valentine, born on July 24, 1990.
Larson's early life was marked by frequent relocations, spending her childhood in various cities, including St. Louis, Missouri; Boston, Massachusetts; Alexandria, Virginia; Birmingham, Alabama; and Portland, Oregon, before finally settling in Kansas City, Missouri. She later attended the University of Missouri – Kansas City. After moving to San Francisco, she worked at a record store in Berkeley and subsequently became the production secretary for the Golden State Country Bluegrass Festival.
Her musical journey began earnestly in the early 1970s when she joined David Nichtern & The Nocturnes. During this time, she met Hank Devito, Nichtern's guitarist, whom she later married; the couple divorced in 1978. After relocating to Los Angeles, Larson formed a friendship with Linda Ronstadt, which led to her introduction to Neil Young. By 1978, she had provided backup vocals for Young on his albums *Comes a Time* and *Rust Never Sleeps*, the latter featuring the song "Lotta Love," which would later become her signature track on her debut album released the same year.
Larson continued to provide harmonies for prominent artists, including Linda Ronstadt, Emmylou Harris, and The Doobie Brothers, and was a part of Commander Cody. She released four solo albums under Warner Bros. Records before moving to Nashville, where she recorded her MCA debut, *The Last Goodbye*. This album earned her the Country Music Academy's Best New Female Vocalist award and featured the hit duet "That's When You Know When Love's Right" with Steve Warner. Larson continued her music career until her untimely death due to cerebral edema in December 1997.
In February 1998, two tribute concerts were held at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium in California, featuring artists such as Carole King, Emmylou Harris, Jackson Browne, Joe Walsh, Bonnie Raitt, and Linda Ronstadt. A CD recording of these concerts was released by Rhino Records in February 2006.

- Record was initially cleaned manually, then ultrasonically cleaned with iSonic Ultrasonic Cleaning prior to grading
- Records are packaged with a poly outer sleeve, the LP is placed in a fresh white inner sleeve directly after cleaning, (we include the accompanying sleeve, we send you both), separate from the cover to protect the seams during shipment, and of course, shipped within thick cardboard insert pads in a thick cardboard record mailer.

SEALED/Mint:
Vinyl: Assumed mint, unverified until opened.
Sleeve: Visible through shrink wrap, graded as above.
NM (Near Mint):
Vinyl: Nearly flawless, with possible minor scuffs or hairlines only visible under strong light.
Sleeve: Appears new, as if freshly printed.
EX (Excellent):
Vinyl: Bright, with minor surface wear and hairlines, not affecting play.
Sleeve: May have faint creases or abrasions, but artwork is clean.
VG+ (Very Good Plus):
Vinyl: Obvious wear, scuffs and hairlines, plays with some noise but no major sound issues.
Sleeve: Worn with creases, noticeable wear, acid deterioration, corner dings, chipping, and possible seam wear.
Here's the typical SRO Records line in the sand. Anything below VG+, unless it's rare, unusual or just awesome, we're NOT going to sell online, much less go through the hassle of an ultrasonic cleaning, we're going to put it in one of many $10 Record boxes that we sell at Record Conventions and events. Some will wind up in the $1 Box, just to get it back out into the world for someone to enjoy or make a planter out of.
VG (Very Good):
Vinyl: Dull appearance with many hairlines and scuffs, somehow plays with persistent noise but no skips.
Sleeve: Worn with possible seam splits and moderate ring wear.
G+ (Good Plus):
Vinyl: Numerous marks and scratches, plays with significant noise but music usually overpowers flaws.
Sleeve: Rough appearance with possible seam splits and water damage.
G (Good):
Vinyl: Copious unforgettable marks, probably a skip or jump.
Sleeve: Heavy ring wear and damage, likely large seam splits or water damage.
F (Fair):
Vinyl: It's round with nearly infinite damage, skipper gonna skip
Sleeve: It's basically what's left of the sleeve for the album
