Vierka Šusteková is a multifaceted artist, recognized as a singer, musician, presenter, actress, and composer. She has achieved considerable success both in Slovakia and internationally. Her acting talent is showcased in the interactive theatre productions of FIFO A VIERKA, and she has previously been a member of the Záhorácke divadlo. Šusteková has also appeared in numerous popular television series, including Búrlivé víno, Rodinné prípady, Divoké kone, Susedské prípady, and the recent Súdna sieň - nové prípady.
Her passion for singing and music began in childhood. Throughout her life, she has garnered awards in various competitions and festivals, including participation in Hlasu Československa and the X-Factor singing competition. She has frequently performed on television programs such as those aired on TV JOJ, TV Markíza, VTV, ČT1, TV SEN, and TV Region. Additionally, she has worked as a vocal supervisor at Janka Slezáka's private musical school, SHOWTIME, in Piešťany, and at several other institutions, while currently offering private singing lessons.
Šusteková enjoys collaborating with inspiring individuals, including notable personalities such as Gabo Jonáš, Boris Čelár, Stano Kociov, Tamás Belicza (HU), Janko Slezák, Míša Leicht (CZ), Peter Hečko, Adriena Bartošová, Jimi Cimbala, Carly Coonagh (IRL), Pete Art (A), among others.
Recently, she has been involved with the non-profit organization OZ ELEMENT SENICA, organizing various charitable projects, music and educational workshops, exhibitions, and providing assistance to socially disadvantaged individuals. Besides her musical endeavors, Šusteková has a keen interest in photography and painting, with several exhibitions and awards to her name. She has presented the project Hudobný portál on regional television and has moderated significant festivals and events, both in Slovakia and abroad. She is the creator of projects such as HUDBA V SENICI, FIFO A VIERKA, and ÚSMEVY FIFA A VIERKY. The project Hudba v Senici was an integral part of the cultural summer in Senica from 2012 to 2014. She has also played a significant organizational role in projects like OKTÓBERFEST 2012, JUNIORI SENIOROM in 2012, 2013, and 2014, the benefit concert SENICA SA SPÁJA PRE LEPŠIE VIANOCE in 2013 and 2014, Zóna bez peňazí Senica in 2013, Senica deťom (MDD 2014), and the opening of the summer season or Svadba Kunovského vodníka in 2014.
Her performances often feature an acoustic guitar alongside esteemed musicians such as Tamás Belicza (HU) on bass and vocals, Stano Kociov on drums, Jaro Žigo Jr. on drums and vocals, Richard Banský on cajon, drums, and vocals, Andrej Jeriga on bass and vocals, Roman Ziaťko on dobro, and Peter Kavický on electric guitar and vocals. These musicians are regarded among the best in Slovakia's country, folk rock, and country rock music scenes. Šusteková's repertoire primarily consists of her original compositions in Slovak, drawing inspiration from her life experiences and guided by her heart. Her lyrics are rich with emotional experiences, aimed at positively inspiring listeners in their own lives. She also includes various cover versions in her repertoire, infusing them with unique elements that enrich the songs and give them a fresh sound. Thanks to her experience as a presenter, her concerts are filled with entertainment and humor, ensuring that audiences leave with a wealth of emotions and memorable experiences.
After many years, she has returned to her hobbies, which include photography and visual arts. In 2015, she received an honorable mention for her color photograph on the theme of family in the Náhlikova Senica competition, which led to her advancement to the AMFO 2015 in Skalica.
