Born in August 1989 in São Paulo, Pedro Viáfora is a Brazilian composer, musician, and journalist. Growing up in a musically enriched environment, he was influenced significantly by his father, the singer and composer Celso Viáfora. At the age of 15, Pedro made his debut as a lyricist, marking the beginning of his journey in musical creation. He soon expanded his artistic endeavors by collaborating as a melodist and launching his solo career.

Following his initial performances, Pedro Viáfora became involved with the project 5 A Seco, where he collaborated with artists Vinicius Calderoni, Tó Brandileone, Pedro Altério, and Leo Bianchini to present a show featuring original songs, devoid of soloists. The project achieved notable success, with all tickets selling out during its inaugural season in July 2009 at Sala Crisantempo in Vila Madalena, São Paulo. The positive reception led to invitations to perform at Tom Jazz and Itaú Cultural, both of which also saw full audiences.

The year 2011 was a significant milestone for Pedro and his collaborators. Their shows at Auditório do Ibirapuera consistently sold out, culminating in the recording of the group's first CD/DVD, which was released in the first half of 2012. In 2013, the song "Em Paz," performed by 5 a Seco alongside Maria Gadu, served as the opening theme for the Rede Globo soap opera Flor do Caribe. That same year, Pedro contributed to Pedro Camargo Mariano's CD [r16099731] with the song "Sei Lá Eu," co-written with Pedro Altério.

June 2013 marked the release of Pedro Viáfora's first solo album, titled [r21605863]. Recorded at Estúdio Sollua throughout 2012 and produced by Celso Viáfora, the album featured prominent musicians such as Marcelo Mariano and Thiago "Big" Rabello. Mixed by Thiago Monteiro and mastered by UE Nastasi, this debut studio album signified the start of a new chapter in Pedro Viáfora's musical career.
