Lui Rizzuti, known initially as DJ Nuff Stuff, embarked on his musical journey in 1989. Throughout his career, he has played at diverse events and functions around the globe, from venues in Toronto and Vancouver to Buffalo, New York, and as far afield as Sydney, Australia. Lui is certified by INTAC/CODJA and currently operates Rizzuti Productions from his base in Thornhill, Ontario.
In 1997, Lui attended the Trebas Institute in Toronto, where he studied Recorded Music Production and Sound Engineering. He subsequently worked as a freelancer in various production facilities and recording studios, applying his skills in Recording, Mixing, Editing, and Mastering for a range of projects, including albums, commercials, voice-overs, radio productions, corporate audio, and music compilations. His collaborations span several notable producers and sound engineers, such as Steve Lamb (Twisted, Sydney), Nick Blagona (Metal Works, Toronto), Rick Andersen, and Juno Award winner Inaam Haq (Cherry Beach Sound, Toronto), Daniel Holmes (Daniel Holmes Productions), Gadjet (Bassment, Toronto), and Fred Esposito (Bee Harris, New York). He has also worked with corporate executives and producers, including Robert Bruzio, Jim Lamarche, Robin Periana (Periana Productions and Communications Group), and Juno winner Lance Anderson.
Lui's engineering credits include projects such as The Toronto 1 Show (DV 1-16), Rogers Communication for Fairchild Television, and Blockbuster by Buck Productions. He has contributed to campaigns for Unilever and Independent Grocer, featuring Jim Van Horne (Sportsnet), as well as works for Lifestyles, Mediatique, Virtual Learning, and various corporate entities.
He has collaborated with record labels and companies such as Universal, BMG, SPG Music Ltd., DEP, and Ministry of Sound. His mastering work includes albums for artists like Aventura, Despina Vandi, Stevie B., Bent, Joee, Groove Coverage, Lil Suzy, M1, Aspektz, Navy Sealz, Armando Jr., Christopher Gucci, and numerous compilations by Tony Monaco. Additionally, Lui has recorded or mixed tracks for a wide array of artists including Method 8, Thrust (Toronto), Spence Diamonds, and many others, while assisting Juno Award Winner Lance Anderson with Garth Hudson of The Band.
Beyond his engineering work, Lui has produced albums, singles, compilations, mix tapes, corporate presentations, radio commercials, short film audio, and web audio. His radio commercials have been aired for clients such as HMV and A&B Sound, with broadcasts on Z103.5fm, CHIN AM/FM, Flow 93.5 fm, Project Bounce 89.5fm, CFRB 1010, 680 News, Keep Six Radio, and various television channels.
Lui remains committed to continuous learning in music production technology, attending courses and schools in Toronto and abroad.
