Hillsong London

Hillsong Church London is a Pentecostal Christian congregation that represents the London branch of Hillsong Church, which also has locations in Sydney, Paris, Kiev, Cape Town, and Stockholm. Established by Hillsong Church in Sydney, it has been under the pastoral leadership of Gary and Cathy Clarke for the past decade, guided by the overarching leadership of Senior Pastors Brian and Bobbie Houston.

From 2000 to 2002, Hillsong London held services in various West End theatres and university halls throughout the city. By late 2004, the church concluded a two-year residency at the Mermaid Conference and Events Centre, where it conducted seven services each weekend. As of January 2005, Hillsong London has been holding four Sunday services at the Dominion Theatre, which accommodates approximately 2,200 attendees. In August 2005, the church expanded its outreach to Leatherhead, Surrey, located southwest of London.

Currently, services at the Dominion Theatre are scheduled for 10:30 AM, 1:00 PM, 3:30 PM, and 6:00 PM, while services in Surrey take place at 10:30 AM and 6:00 PM. Additionally, services have commenced in Amsterdam on Sundays, with the total congregation size across the four services in the Dominion Theatre and the two in Leatherhead reaching around 9,500 individuals.

On September 13, 2009, Hillsong London celebrated a decade of its presence in London with a special service at the O2 Arena, drawing an attendance of over 14,000 people, while many more were unable to enter due to capacity constraints.

Hillsong London also organizes two major annual conferences:

Colour The Colour Your World Women's Conference was initiated in London in 2004 and takes place every May, hosted by Bobbie Houston. In 2006, the event was held at the Wembley Conference Centre, and since 2007, it has taken place at the Royal Albert Hall. The conference is set to move to Wembley Arena in 2010.

Hillsong Conference Europe Hillsong Conference Europe is held at the ExCeL Exhibition Centre in Docklands, East London. The 2010 edition was notably held at The O2 Arena, featuring guests such as Joel and Victoria Osteen, Cindy Cruse-Ratcliff, Judah Smith, and Jentezen Franklin. This conference attracted over 5,000 delegates, and a related event named A Night of Hope saw a turnout of more than 13,000 attendees. The annual Hillsong Conference Europe is scheduled to return to The O2 Arena in July 2011, moved from its previous October date to accommodate a larger audience.

Hillsong London released its inaugural live worship album, Shout God's Fame, in 2004, which was recorded live at the Mermaid Conference and Events Centre in mid-2003, featuring songs by church member Natasha Bedingfield. In October 2005, the church recorded its second album, Jesus Is, which was released in May 2006, featuring contributions from the Hillsong London team and Matt Redman. A remixed version of this album, Jesus Is: Remix, was released in December 2006, initially available exclusively at the church.

On October 8, 2008, the live DVD and studio album Hail to the King was released. Following this, on August 24, 2009, Hillsong released the single "C.I.T.Y," which reached #16 on the UK Top 30 Indie Singles Charts. On January 24, 2010, Hillsong London recorded songs for the Hillsong LIVE DVD album A Beautiful Exchange, which was released on July 29, 2010.
