Widely regarded as one of the most celebrated and influential musicians of the 20th century, he achieved commercial success across various genres, including rock 'n' roll, pop, country, and gospel. He ranks among the best-selling music artists in the history of recorded music. Throughout his career, he received three Grammy Awards, along with the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award at the age of 36. His parents were Gladys Presley and Vernon Presley. He was the father of Lisa Marie Presley, his daughter from his marriage to Priscilla Presley (1967 to 1973). He is also a distant cousin of Glenn Honeycutt, as their grandmothers were sisters.
