B.r.i.x, also known as Brix, began his journey into rap in 2006 alongside friends, drawing significant inspiration from Grime artists of that era. Encouraged to write lyrics, he would often perform with his friends in various towns. His breakthrough came when he rapped in front of a connection who had a friend producing beats. This led to an arrangement for him and other local MCs to meet in a studio, culminating in the formation of a collective.

The group, named Danger1nze, which included Brix, Finisha, D Dot S, and Colossal, released their first and only mini-album mixtape titled "High Voltage." They also produced a music video for "Danger1nze - Better Days," which debuted in 2007. This track gained popularity, airing on the UK talent music television channel Channel U on Sky (now known as Channel AKA). However, the project faced challenges, leading to the decision to disband and reform as Imperial Squad, a four-member unit. They began work on their debut album and released several music videos on Channel AKA, including "Just A Link," "Track Wrecka," "Track Wrecka Remix," "Freak," "Slow Down," "Money Maker," "Beside Of You," "Hangover," and "Single Mothers" by Cypher, all of which are available on YouTube. The group toured extensively across the UK and made a notable appearance on BBC Radio 1xtra's Tim Westwood show for a live freestyle session in early 2009.

Brix emerged as a key creative force in the group, focusing on songwriting and constructing choruses and bridges for himself or featured singers over beats primarily produced by Sir-B. Initially starting as a raw rapper with a focus on 16-bar lyrics, he developed his songwriting skills over time.

In 2013, Imperial Squad released their debut album "Imperialism," available for digital download, accompanied by three music videos. The lead single "Another Way 2 My Heart" was featured on Channel AKA. Unfortunately, by the fall of 2013, the group disbanded due to musical differences and disagreements regarding their record contract.

During his time with Imperial Squad, Brix began experimenting with creating his own hip-hop beats for solo projects. He produced a dance track titled "Miami Affair" as a birthday gift to himself in 2013, taking it to the studio for mastering. After a three-year hiatus from music following the band's breakup, he decided to pivot his career towards becoming a DJ and record producer rather than abandoning music altogether. In 2016, Brix returned with a renewed focus on electronic music, creating his first track "The Sphinx," a high-energy 150 bpm techno piece with dark, Egyptian influences. This track inspired the concept of Pharaoh music, characterized by dark, Egyptian-styled electronic dance beats. He adopted the name Pharaohz, embracing an ancient Egyptian theme that became central to his artistic direction. As DJ Pharaohz, he began releasing live mixed techno and house compilations available for free download on SoundCloud, continuing to spread the sound of Pharaoh music far and wide.
