Born in Paris in 1958, the artist began their musical journey with formal training as a drummer from 1971 to 1975, focusing on both technical proficiency and music theory. Between 1977 and 1982, they gained diverse experiences within various musical groups, participating in projects such as "Ailleurs Existe," which garnered positive responses from audiences and critics alike.
In 1982, while based in Avignon, they began teaching drums and percussion through school programs and private lessons. That same year, they engaged in multiple recording sessions in Paris and participated in concert tours for various variety singers.
In 1983, alongside teaching, the artist continued their career as an instrumentalist, collaborating with numerous musicians, including the late pianist Y. Haettel, percussionist Olivier Renne, and others like Barre Phillips, E. Portal, C. Alvarez Perreire, and E. Weber. The following year, they toured extensively across France and Europe, while also composing and recording music from Parisian studios, during which they took up self-directed studies in keyboards.
In 1986, the artist produced two tapes, "Minimal Music" and "Autres Temps," in collaboration with guitarist G. Yung, and established a percussion trio for summer concerts in southern France. From 1988 to the early 1990s, they worked on compositions for corporate films, television reports, and ballet music for Italian choreographer Pier Paolo Koss.
In 1989, they composed the original soundtrack for the documentary "Tibesti," directed by Bernard Pradinaud for France 2, focusing on the artist Jean Verame. This was followed in 1995 by an original soundtrack for the Canal + production "Bronzes dans le desert," again about Jean Verame.
Since 1996, the artist has continued to work within the film industry, composing music for television and cinema projects for filmmaker Jean Claude Francolon. In 1999, they produced the CD "Réflexions futures," which included the original soundtrack for the film "Roller Queen." The following years saw the creation of the original soundtrack for the TV movie "Strada maestra," directed by Francolon.
In the summer of 2001, they recorded a CD featuring personal compositions titled "Existences Invisibles." This led to the conceptualization of a pictorial project named "Modified Reality." The first release of "Existences Invisibles" in limited edition occurred in 2002 through the Musea label and Recommended Records, associated with Chris Cutler from the UK.
On March 20, 2003, a revised edition of "Existences Invisibles" was released by the CARBON 7 label, founded by Guy Segers and Alan Ward, former members of UNIVERS ZERO. The following year marked the initial sporadic recordings of a new discographic project titled "Modified Reality," which continued into 2005 with contributions from Guy Segers (vocal declamation and bass guitar), Reginald Trigaux (guitar), and violinist Marianne Denoïa, who appeared as a guest on select tracks. The anticipated release of this project was expected in the latter half of 2006 on the Belgium label Carbon 7 Records.
On August 26, 2006, the new CD "Modified Reality" was released by CARBON 7. In 2007, the artist participated in the DVD "5 Knights and a Muse," created by American choreographer Susana Weingarten, contributing to a segment titled "End of an Era."
By 2008, they continued composing and recording for an upcoming album, tentatively titled "Facts and Fiction," and were invited by composer/poet/improviser Alain Joule to contribute to the creation "Du feu dans les étoiles," a score exploring themes of poetic solitude with new developments anticipated in the future.
