2 Fabiola was established in 1991 by Pat Krimson and Oliver Adams, the latter of whom was also engaged with his numerous projects as part of the M.N.O. production team. They were subsequently joined by Zohra and included go-go dancer Fabio Ponenté until the release of the single "Magic Flight."
During the mid-nineties, the group achieved notable success with singles such as "Play This Song," which reached #1 in Spain, and "Lift U Up," which topped the charts in Belgium. Following this period, Pat Krimson shifted his focus to another project, Nunca, while Zohra embarked on a solo career as both a singer and DJ.
In 1999, Medusa (7), who was also a member of Fiocco, joined the group as a new vocalist. However, after releasing two singles that did not perform well, the project was put on hold.
In the summer of 2007, Pat Krimson revived 2 Fabiola with the single "Straight To The Top," featuring Australian singer Katie Michaelson. By 2008, the group released two additional singles, "We Love The 90's" and "Blow Me Away," and resumed touring with a new lineup that included Pat Krimson (Patrick Claessen), Loredana (Loredana de Amicis), and Viola (Viola Furleo).
The first production released under the 2 Fabiola name was "The Milky Way," a tribute to the Belgian royal family. It was not until six years later that the next single, "Play This Song," was issued. This catchy dance track became a significant hit in the Spanish and Italian markets, securing four weeks at #1 and maintaining a position in the official Spanish top 10 for approximately six months. Over time, 2 Fabiola evolved into a full-fledged band, gradually gaining recognition across Europe for its striking visuals and dynamic live performances.
The group featured Zohra as the singer and belly dancer, who incorporated a nunchaku dance into their performances, choreographed by herself. She was supported by Carine B, who provided background vocals. Alongside this duo, Pat Krimson performed as the keyboardist. This trio delivered an engaging 40-minute show that captivated audiences. Additionally, Andrès Romero, a well-known Belgian producer/composer/remixer of Spanish descent, contributed to the creation of several hits.
2 Fabiola sought to express extravagance in various aspects, including their attire, speech, and overall demeanor. The follow-up single "Lift U Up" repeated their success in Spain and Italy, also achieving five weeks at #1 in both the Ultratop 30 and the VTW Super 50 charts in Belgium. This track won an award for Best Belgian Production, and the Golden record for its impressive sales was presented on June 21, 1996, at club RIO in St.-Katelijne Waver, Belgium. The band expressed their surprise and delight at such recognition.
In October 1996, the group launched a Christmas campaign that included a holiday single, "Universal Love," intended for the Belgian market, along with their debut double album. The album, titled "Tyfoon," featured hits such as "I’m On Fire," "Lift U Up," and "Play This Song," and achieved over 25,000 sales in Belgium, earning another Golden record. As the album gained popularity, the new single "Freak Out" also saw significant sales.
Before releasing "Flashback," the group opted for a brief hiatus, during which Zohra released her solo single "I Hate 2 Love U." Fabio departed from the group to focus on dance instruction, while Pat produced tracks like "Taboo Bells," "My Playground," and "Paranoid In Moscow."
Following this period, they introduced the single "Sisters & Brothers," which did not achieve substantial success due to a shift in their musical style towards disco, followed by "Feel The Vibe" and the second album titled "Androgyne." Their final single featuring Medusa, "Summer In Space," highlighted Evy Goffin, who was then the lead singer for the Lasgo project.
In 1999, Pat Krimson initiated a new project named Nunca, which was rebranded as Nunca Brothers in 2001. That same year, he released the track "Es Cubells" under his own name.
In September 2000, Pat Krimson relocated to Ibiza with his girlfriend Ann Vervoort, the former singer of Milk Inc., marking the end of 2 Fabiola and the Nunca project.
