Bee Gees
The Bee Gees were a renowned singing trio composed of brothers Barry, Robin, and Maurice Gibb. Born on the Isle of Man to English parents, the brothers spent their early years in Chorlton-cum-Hardy, Manchester, England, before relocating to Brisbane, Australia, where they embarked on their musical journey. Their return to the UK marked the beginning of their global success, particularly after signing with producer Robert Stigwood.
Over a remarkable four-decade career, the Bee Gees garnered multiple awards and achieved significant success, particularly during two distinct periods: first as a harmonious soft rock ensemble in the late 1960s and early 1970s, and subsequently as leading figures of the disco era in the late 1970s. Regardless of the genre, the Bee Gees were celebrated for their signature three-part harmonies, which were reminiscent of the blending styles of The Everly Brothers and the Beach Boys. Barry often took the lead, showcasing an R&B falsetto that became prominent during the disco years, while Robin contributed his distinct clear vibrato that characterized their earlier work, and Maurice provided high and low harmonies throughout their entire career. The trio co-wrote the majority of their hits, expressing a profound connection in their songwriting process, stating they felt like "one person" when creating music together.
The group's contributions to music were recognized with their induction into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1994, followed by their enshrinement in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as performers in 1997. In recognition of their achievements, they were appointed Commanders of the Order of the British Empire (CBEs) in the New Year's Honours List for 2001-2002. Following Maurice's passing in January 2003, the remaining brothers chose to retire the Bee Gees name. However, they later performed occasionally under the Bee Gees banner until Robin Gibb's death in May 2012.
In November 2024, drummers Dennis Bryon and Colin Petersen both passed away just four days apart.

- Record was initially cleaned manually, then ultrasonically cleaned with iSonic Ultrasonic Cleaning prior to grading
- Records are packaged with a poly outer sleeve, the LP is placed in a fresh white inner sleeve directly after cleaning, (we include the accompanying sleeve, we send you both), separate from the cover to protect the seams during shipment, and of course, shipped within thick cardboard insert pads in a thick cardboard record mailer.

SEALED/Mint:
Vinyl: Assumed mint, unverified until opened.
Sleeve: Visible through shrink wrap, graded as above.
NM (Near Mint):
Vinyl: Nearly flawless, with possible minor scuffs or hairlines only visible under strong light.
Sleeve: Appears new, as if freshly printed.
EX (Excellent):
Vinyl: Bright, with minor surface wear and hairlines, not affecting play.
Sleeve: May have faint creases or abrasions, but artwork is clean.
VG+ (Very Good Plus):
Vinyl: Obvious wear, scuffs and hairlines, plays with some noise but no major sound issues.
Sleeve: Worn with creases, noticeable wear, acid deterioration, corner dings, chipping, and possible seam wear.
Here's the typical SRO Records line in the sand. Anything below VG+, unless it's rare, unusual or just awesome, we're NOT going to sell online, much less go through the hassle of an ultrasonic cleaning, we're going to put it in one of many $10 Record boxes that we sell at Record Conventions and events. Some will wind up in the $1 Box, just to get it back out into the world for someone to enjoy or make a planter out of.
VG (Very Good):
Vinyl: Dull appearance with many hairlines and scuffs, somehow plays with persistent noise but no skips.
Sleeve: Worn with possible seam splits and moderate ring wear.
G+ (Good Plus):
Vinyl: Numerous marks and scratches, plays with significant noise but music usually overpowers flaws.
Sleeve: Rough appearance with possible seam splits and water damage.
G (Good):
Vinyl: Copious unforgettable marks, probably a skip or jump.
Sleeve: Heavy ring wear and damage, likely large seam splits or water damage.
F (Fair):
Vinyl: It's round with nearly infinite damage, skipper gonna skip
Sleeve: It's basically what's left of the sleeve for the album
